British Army vehicles and units of World War II
ABOUT THE TRUX WEBSITE
Trux Models ceased trading in April 2006 and the web site is now being used to display the information collected over the years, plus information which is still being collected.
The website has been reorganised and now consists of three main sections.
21 ARMY GROUP 1944/45.
This section is almost complete and contains the War Establishment tables for all known 21 Army Group units together with notes and comments. A very small number of units remain to be added. These should be available soon.
EQUIPMENT
Equipment will eventually include details of all vehicles and equipment mentioned in the unit pages. It is hoped that illustrations will be included.
BEF 1940.
This section is now available. Most units are covered as far as the basic War Establishments are concerned. More details will be added.
WHAT IS NEW?
Since the last update the following has been added.
BEF 1940.
Many visitors to the site will know that the BEF has long been a favourite with Mike. Trux Models produced an extensive range of softskin vehicles for the period and reference material has been collected over nearly twenty years. Only more recently however have many War Establishment tables been obtained in order to complete the study.
Now added

Armoured Regiment
Cavalry Regiment
Motor Battalion
Engineers
Motor Division units including

Signals
More to come.
